What addictions do you treat?
Stella Maris treats opioids, alcohol, cocaine, benzodiazepines, and other drugs. We treat clients for all drugs and alcohol methadone, but can only detox clients from alcohol, opiates, Benzodiapines and Suboxone.

What payment methods does Stella Maris accept?
We accept cash, money orders and all major credit cards.

What if I do not have insurance?
You may still be able to receive treatment even if you can’t pay or don’t have insurance. We will discuss payment options with you in your intake interview. Whatever your situation, please call us for more information. We also offer sliding-fee schedules.

Do you serve both men and women? Starting at what age?
We serve men and women who are 18 and older. Admission to detox for people over the age of 55 is contingent on medical history.

Do you serve Veterans? Is there a VA case manager?
Yes, we proudly serve U.S. Veterans, have a dedicated VA case manager, and work closely with Veterans Administration Services as well as our local VA Office, and Veterans Treatment Center.

What treatment services do you provide?
Stella Maris provides withdrawal management 3.7 detoxification for men and women; Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for men and women; Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for men and women; Supportive Housing for men; Recovery Housing for men and women; and Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) for men and women.

How long is treatment?
It ranges from two weeks to six months, depending on where you enter our Continuum of Care.

What other services do you provide?
We offer daily 12-Step meetings, a volunteer-run campus coffee shop, job readiness and placement, and family counseling and education.

What is your mission?
Stella Maris’ mission is to provide quality chemical dependency treatment and mental health services to our community regardless of race, gender, religion or ability to pay. Stella Maris will strive to make services available to all those seeking treatment based on presenting need and available treatment capacity. Stella Maris recognizes that alone we cannot meet the total needs of our community and will work with other community resources to improve the availability of appropriate services for the treatment of alcoholism and other addictions.
