Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
After you finish detox, usually in 5 to 7 days, this next 14-day phase gives you structure to keep from relapsing. Staff members* manage your medication, designed just for this point in the process. It helps you make a smooth transition to our outpatient program. Covered by most insurance, the PHP phase also includes individual and group counseling, chemical dependency education, case management, psychiatric care, medical care, 12-Step meetings, exercise, yoga, art therapy and life-skill counseling.
Medical Assisted Treatment (MAT)
In this phase, an injection of Vivitrol every 30 days aids the work you are doing to stay sober. Vivitrol – not a narcotic – relieves cravings that come during your early abstinence from drugs and alcohol. You can receive Medication Assisted Treatment if you are in Stella Maris’s PHP, IOP or men’s housing programs.
